Historically a coal-mining town, Skelmersdale boasts some beautiful countryside. Perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll through Tawd Valley Park, following the course of the River Tawd through the picturesque valley of open grassland and established woodland, running through the heart of Skelmersdale.
