Helping Hand

We'll help you buy the home you want today!

If you’re struggling to afford the home you want, or even to get started on the property ladder, we have a shared equity scheme that can help.

With Persimmon's Helping Hand scheme you typically pay 85% of the value of a new Persimmon Home, and we’ll take care of the remaining 15%. You will own 100% of the property and you can simply pay us back when you sell*.

Contact your nearest Persimmon housing development today to get a Helping Hand towards your move into a new home.

* Helping Hand shared equity scheme available subject to status, terms and conditions apply. Available on selected plots and developments only. Percentages are subject to change, contact nearest participating development for latest figures. It is highly advised, for a swift, smooth transaction that a mortgage broker/solicitor advised by Persimmon is used. The Persimmon equity share can be repaid at any time during the term of the agreement. The Persimmon shared equity scheme will charge interest after 5 years (i.e. in the sixth year of the mortgage) at 3% of the amount of the shared equity loan. Interest is payable monthly by Direct Debit. Persimmon is not a mortgage provider. YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON A MORTGAGE OR OTHER LOAN SECURED ON IT. Full details available on request at participating developments.
