Situated close to the banks of the River to the south of Boston town centre.  This historic market town - the original `Boston` from which the US city was named - is dominated by the tower of the 14th century St Botolph`s Church, known as the Boston Stump and the largest parish church in England.

The town is also renowned for events by the Pilgrim Fathers, when in 1620 they set sail in the Mayflower on their epic voyage to the New World.

Boston has always been a great trading centre with a lively port established as far back as the 13th century.  In the present day, the Port of Boston handles steel imports, timber and grain exports as well as an efficient container service.
