Being told you child has cancer is one of the most traumatic news you'll face as a parent. We support by providing a range of activities in seven major paediatric cancers centres. Often, we are the only non-clinical people in hospital meaning parents can make calls, have a shower or, as many do, cry for the first time since diagnosis while their child is enjoying themselves and laughing, rather than worrying about treatment and pain. Winning would mean so much to families we support. We could recover from the pandemic, sustain and expand our services into more hospitals.
