St Tudy Playing Field Trust was set up in 1932 to preserve and manage the village playing field. Currently the voluntary committee is working towards the ambition of building a community sports hub, including facilities for the pre-school, sports clubs, local community and school. The village needs to encourage everyone, from the youngest to the oldest to stay fit and active throughout life. The existing village facilities are extremely basic and in particular changing rooms for the local junior sports teams – which are non-existent. We desperately need support to realise our dream. Small Cornish village – with big plans!
