Directions

Leave M6 motorway at junction 41 and at the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto A66. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Carleton Avenue A686. Turn left onto Carleton Road then take the second right onto Oak Road. Turn right onto The Parklands then a slight left to Carleton Meadows.

Penrith is a popular destination for shoppers, with a bustling centre that combines the convenience of modern amenities with the charm of tradition and locally-made items.

Leisure

There’s a lot to do in the local area including Penrith Golf Club, local swimming baths and Rookin House Activity Centre with horse riding facilities. The National Cycle Network's major National Route 7 runs through the town, and the National Route 71 stops just short of the southern edge of the town.
