From the A30 southbound, at the roundabout take the second exit onto the A39. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Newquay Road/A39. Turn right onto Tregolls Road/A39/A390. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Marlaix Avenue/A39. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and stay on Marlaix Avenue/A39. Continue onto Green Lane/A390 and, shortly, the development will be on your right.
Truro has excellent shopping facilities with an abundance of popular high street shops and a huge selection of independent retailers. Lemon Quay hosts regular farmers’ markets every Wednesday and Saturday. Pyder Street and King Street are very popular, boasting a selection of famous national shops and smaller, interesting independent ones. Victoria Street offers a fantastic choice of jewellery and fashion shops as well as surf brands such as Quicksilver.

Truro also hosts the Royal Cornwall Museum; here you can see everything from geological specimens to Celtic torques. Another popular attraction is the Victoria Gardens, filled with exotic trees, shrubs and flowers to commemorate Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee.
Children of all ages are well catered for, with two primary schools and two secondary schools close by, including Penair School and the Richard Lander School. Truro & Penwith College also provides further education for the local area, including university courses and apprenticeships.
Truro is ideally located just off the A30 dual carriageway offering excellent links to Exeter and the M5. The city boasts exceptional public transport services. Truro railway station is on the Cornish main line providing a connection to London Paddington. Local bus services are very extensive and provide easy access to routes all over the region. Newquay airport is only 20 miles away and offers regular flights to London Gatwick and the services are expanding all the time.
There are plenty of local health services nearby. Truro Health Park, Three Spires Medical Practice and Lander Medical Practice are just a few of the local health centres available along with a number of dentists, pharmacies and opticians. The Royal Cornwall Hospital is located in Treliske on the outskirts of the city and offers many services, including an A&E department.
