Colne is a Britain in Bloom town set in beautiful open countryside, in the middle of the district of Pendle. Nearby is the superb landscape of the mighty Pondle Hill, one of three main peaks in the area. The town was a 2015 finalist for the Great British High street Competition.

Directions

Colne is six miles north-east of Burnley, 25 miles east of Preston, 25 miles north of Manchester and 30 miles west of Leeds.

At the end of the M65 (J14), at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Whitewalls Drive/A6068.

After 0.4 miles, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Burnley Road/A56.

After 0.4 miles, turn right onto Knotts Lane.

Then turn right onto Khyber Street and continue onto Knotts Drive.

Shopping

Colne’s town centre is just a mile away from the development, with a range of shopping, leisure and food options to suit all tastes. Colne is awash with trendy independent retailers that are great for gifts and interiors. Beyond this, there is the Boundary Mill Stores, thought to be the largest mill store of its kind in the UK.
