Greenwood Valley is set in the charming town of Hednesford, often known as the southern gateway to Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just to the north of the town. The Chase has a number of visitor centres and museums, and also Chase Water Country Park, a Site of Specific Scientific Interest. It’s a collection of man-made lakes formed from old mining pits and a reservoir that feeds the canal system of the Midlands – a great place to while away a few hours.
