Persimmon Homes Yorkshire requires a Customer Care Maintenance Operative based at Fulford, York. The successful candidate will provide a variety of remedial works for customers in their new homes mainly in the North and East Yorkshire and Humberside areas, reporting directly to the Construction Department. A Van will be provided for company use only. Your weekly working hours will be a minimum of 40 hours per week and willing to work up to 50 hours if necessary to satisfy the demand from customers. Hours will be 8am to 7pm 4 day a week and 1 Saturday a month 8am to 4pm.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent standard of carpentry, plaster patching and painting, but will also be able to carry out re-pointing and basic plumbing. CSCS card and First Aid is an advantage, but training can be provided
The successful candidate will be well-organised, self-motivated, efficient and capable of managing their workload. The ability to deal efficiently and courteously with new home purchasers is also essential, as is a full driving licence.
