Land Director Full Time

Persimmon Homes, one of the largest housebuilders, are looking for a Land Director to join their North Midlands team based in Leicester. The Land Director is responsible for all land purchase activity ensuring a consistent flow of new high quality land opportunities for a mix of residential and affordable housing, to make sure that the Region’s land targets are met in line with the Region’s business plan and the maximum contribution is achieved from all land purchases. The Land Director reports to the Managing Director.

Qualifications/ Experience

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working as a Land Director, with experience of buying land and a proven track record of turning land opportunities into successful deals. The ideal candidate will also have a current driving licence.

Skills

The required skills for the position include; strong listening, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence accordingly. Additionally, excellent organisation and administration skills are required, along with excellent attention to detail. Furthermore, candidates must be able to work effectively to deadlines and competently work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates will also be self-motivating, enthusiastic, flexible and driven with proficient IT skills.
