Commercial and Finance Assistant (Maternity Cover) Fixed Term

Space4 Ltd are looking for a Commercial and Finance Assistant (Maternity Cover) to be based in Birmingham, West Midlands. The aim of the role is to assist the Commercial Co-ordinator with processing customer enquiries, generating quotes and processing orders to ensure smooth information flow through the business. Other duties will including supporting the Finance & Payroll team with achieving weekly and monthly deadlines in all transactional areas.  The role is ideally suited to a graduate looking to start their career. This role is a fixed term contract.

Qualifications/ Experience

The ideal candidate will have Mathematics and English Language at GCSE grade C and above or equivalent. The role is ideally suited to an individual who has experience with or exposure to technical drawings and has transactional experience with finance (purchase or sales ledger and timesheet processing). The successful candidate will have experience with ERP Systems and spreadsheets with advanced formulas.

Skills

Candidates will ideally have experience or exposure to technical drawings, must be computer literate and have an intermediate level of Excel and Word experience. Additionally, they will be able to demonstrate telephone courtesy and be able to work in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, candidates should be flexible and organised in order to cope with multiple tasks and priorities in a fast moving automotive-type environment and with a high commitment to quality.
