Reporting to the Head of Commercial and working within a close knit team of surveyors the successful candidate will have proven knowledge of housing development. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of various small and large housing projects including the management of projects including the management of sub contract orders, payments, budgets, site valuations, cost reporting and general surveying management duties for sites.
Ideally qualified to HND/HNC or BSc Degree level (in a building related subject) you will be numerate and possess a high level of computer literacy. Knowledge of the COINS system would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be ambitious, have commercial awareness, be a good communicator and able to demonstrate a flexible and professional approach. Experience of working as a surveyor for a housing developer is preferred but not essential. You must hold a current driving licence.
