Persimmon Midlands require an experienced Sales Advisor to work on our new home developments, primarily in the Northamptonshire area. You will be responsible for negotiating with potential purchasers throughout the house purchase process and definitely be a ‘people person.’
You will be required to work for 35 hours per week (5 days per week) and must have a flexible approach to working hours. You will be required to work at weekends and also some bank holidays.
The successful candidate will have English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) and a strong sales background with experience in a similar role within the industry. Your own transport and full driving licence are essential. As a Sales Advisor you will be actively involved with all parties to achieve legal completion ensuring that properties are ready and built to company standards at handover and that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered. We offer regular Training Workshops that cover product knowledge and techniques for dealing with different customer scenarios. We also offer ongoing guidance and support to ensure you are comfortable meeting your targets and able to assume additional responsibility if desired.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about sales, as well as possessing the aptitude to combine strong business, organisational and communication skills. They will have an ability to achieve targets and work to strict deadlines, have a courteous and professional manner at all times, be self motivated and have the ability to contribute to a fast moving sales environment. Attention to detail and accuracy is key to this role.
