Senior Land Manager or Land Director – Birmingham
Persimmon Homes Central has a vacancy for a Senior Land Manager or Land Director to join their successful and growing land and planning team. This role will be based in the regional office in Castle Bromwich.
As a Senior Land Manager or Director you will also be responsible for the development and implementation of the regional land acquisition strategy and provide reports to the Regional Board Meetings and Group Land team. Your role will involve the identification, assessment and acquisition of short and medium term land opportunities for residential development and ensure that the development is aligned with the Company’s philosophy and commitment to the highest standards of design, construction and service.
You will report directly to the Managing Director. The Managing Director will support and develop you in the way Persimmon operate, empowering you to run with deals, but always on hand to discuss areas for improvement. They will give you clear objectives. You will be adaptable and strong in your management style with a consistent approach with internal architects, engineers, surveyors and external consultants and land-owners.
The successful candidate will require:
A proven track record in identifying and acquiring development opportunities within the operational area, preferably at a Management or Director capacity within a House builder or Land Agency in the West Midlands. We are seeking a candidate with an established contact base and demonstrable skills in commercial negotiation, contract progression, site appraisal and reporting.
