Trainee Sales Advisor Full Time

At Persimmon Homes North Scotland, we are expanding our new homes sales team and are seeking a to employ a Trainee Sales Advisor who will be based at developments throughout Tayside & Fife.

As a Trainee Sales Advisor, you are our Company’s ambassador to our customers and you will assist the Sales Advisers in the negotiation with potential purchasers throughout the the whole house purchase process. This will involve liaising with customers, site and office staff as well as solicitors and financial advisors.

You will report to the Sales Advisor at your development and the Area Sales Manager who will support and develop you to enable you to deliver sales targets for the region. Our Trainee Sales Advisors are eligible for commission following six months of intense training.

Your hours of work will be 11am to 6pm Thursday to Monday and the successful candidate must be prepared to work weekends and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications/ Experience

Full driving licence will be essential.

As this is a trainee role, we will be happy to consider applications from candidates with previous sales experience in a customer-facing role.

You do not necessarily need house building experience (although this would be desirable).

Skills

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, well organised, enthusiastic about sales and have excellent communication skills. You must possess positive ‘can do’ approach, being able to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy is also key to this role. IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Training will be provided on our bespoke internal software.
