Justin joins to boost customer care
Persimmon Homes West Wales has appointed a new Customer Care Manager to further improve the house buying experience.
Persimmon Homes, has embarked on a period of rapid change and improvement of its customer care culture and operations.
The Persimmon Homes West Wales, based in Penllergaer, has hired experienced customer service professional Justin John to help set new standards.
Justin, 38, was Regional Training Manager at Persimmon Homes since 2015 before being handed this new role.
“I wanted to get into a more operational role that allowed me have a larger effect on the service that we deliver our customers,” he explained.
“It was the right time for me because of the drive to focus on customer service right across the business.”
Persimmon has further demonstrated its commitment to improved service across West Wales by doubling its maintenance team from four staff to eight, and the number of people working on the customer services phone desk has also increased from four to six.
Justin, born and bred in Carmarthen, began his career in electrical retail, working with the likes of Carphone Warehouse and Dixons for 15 years before moving into HR.
He said: “I’ve always very much enjoyed fixing customers’ problems and helping to make a difference. I’m passionate about Persimmon Homes and delivering excellent customer service.”
“We can’t always give people exactly what they want and unfortunately we will sometimes get things wrong, but we are striving to give the best level of service and communication that we can and my team are all completely behind me with this challenge.”
When he’s not helping customers with their dream homes, Justin can often be found outdoors and at campsites across Wales as the Group Scout Leader with 5th Carmarthen Scouts helping to provide activities for nearly 80 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Persimmon Homes is currently building right across West Wales, including in Rhos, Llanelli, Cross Hands and Narberth.
