Directions

If you are proceeding though Stoke-on-Trent on the A500 D Road, take the exit signposted Newcastle A52 Shelton New Road. When you reach that, turn left and the site will be found immediately on your left-hand side.

Shopping

The nearest shopping centre is found in the established old town centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme, which is only 1.5 miles away from the site. There are a number of large supermarkets nearby for the day-to-day necessities.

You are only 2 miles from Hanley shopping centre, known know as Intu Potteries Shopping Centre. Convenience stores are also located off Hartshill Road, such as the Co-op and Tesco express.

Leisure

Stoke-on-Trent has a wealth of leisure facilities and sporting clubs such as football, rugby and hockey. The site is only 2 miles from Etruria Village which features various shopping outlets, it also hosts Waterworld swimming pool and activity centre.

Education

Primary Schools are within walking distance of the proposed site with Harpfield Primary School, St Thomas Catholic Primary School or The Willows.

Stoke-on-Trent railway station is less than 2 miles from Mintons Wood and on the Stafford to Manchester branch of the West Coast Main Line.

The A500 D road gives excellent access to the M6 motorway to the North at J16, or South at J15. Bus routes to the centre of Newcastle or Hanley are also accessed off New Shelton Road.
