The town is home to Falmouth Gallery, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and the majestic Pendennis Castle which stands proudly on the edge of Falmouth, overlooking the coast. Head north west out of Falmouth and the A394 provides a good route to Penzance, the A39 goes north to Truro and the A393 heads north west to Redruth.
