Clacton has a good range of amenities for you to make use of. Clacton Shopping Village, just 0.4 miles from Trinity Fields, hosts high street stores, discount outlets and food options, while Morrisons and Tesco Superstore are close by for the weekly shop.

Convenient transport links

Though Clacton enjoys a relatively peaceful coastal position, the town also benefits from good transport links by road and rail. Clacton-on-Sea train station operates direct services to the outskirts of Colchester in around 40 minutes, and to Chelmsford in around an hour. Alternatively, main roads mean you can reach Colchester, Ipswich, Harwich and Chelmsford in less than an hour by car. For travel further afield, Stansted Airport is 48 miles away.

Great local attractions

For a fun day out with the family, taking in some culture of enjoying the great outdoors, Clacton has plenty to offer. The popular pier is a great place to spend a few hours, with bowling, adventure golf, and of course classic seaside food, while Princes and West Cliff Theatres offer evening entertainment. Children will love a trip to Hasty’s Adventure Farm, and if you like staying active there’s a great golf course, water sports centre, and local sports clubs.

Excellent for families

This family-friendly location gives you several local schools to choose from. Willow Tree Nursery School is around half a mile away, while Cann Hill Primary School, Great Clacton Junior School and Holland Park Primary School are all nearby too. Secondary school pupils can attend Clacton County High School and Sigma Sixth, while Shorefields School is a special needs school rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
