Maidstone is well served by trains and has two railway stations: Maidstone East for London/Ashford services and Maidstone West for Gatwick/Strood services. The Channel Tunnel is easily accessed by train directly from Ashford. For destinations further afield, London City, Gatwick and Heathrow airports have regular flights to and from other UK airports as well as a wide range of international destinations.
