Local information

A former mill town, Blackburn has been a famous textiles producer since the middle of the 13th century. The city is still important to the area, with a strong sense of community and a range of employment opportunities, local amenities and services.

Education for all close-by

The development is situated in a very desirable area of Blackburn, close to some excellent local schools, for example St Gabriel's C of E Primary School, rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. There's also Holy Souls RC Primary School, rated 'Good'. Both schools are approximately a 10 minute walk away.

Also close-by is the 480-acre Witton Country Park, which offers endless opportunities for walking, cycling, and enjoying the local wildlife.
