Close to other major towns such as Hertford, Bishop's Stortford and Epping, Harlow has good transport links and is ideal if you need to commute as it's less than 30 miles from London via the M11 motorway. Harlow Mill train station is within walking distance, with the main Harlow Town station just under 3 miles away. London Liverpool Street can be reached in approximately 40 minutes from Harlow Town station. The local bus route close to the development provides easy access into Harlow.

Local Shopping

Living at Gilden Park means you're close to a choice of superstores, and it's just a short drive into Harlow town centre where you'll find an excellent choice of popular high street stores and two main shopping centres; The Water Gardens and the Harvey Centre. There's also a fantastic selection of restaurants to suit all tastes, plus a cinema and theatre.

Days out nearby

The Gibberd Garden, just to the north of Gilden Park, is home to an inspirational historic garden and a collection of 20th century artworks, as well as contemporary exhibitions. You can also visit Harlow Museum to find out more about the local history. If you like to keep active, Harlow has plenty of options. The Mark Hall Sports Centre and Harlow Leisurezone have activities for all. Harlow Town Park is also a great place to spend time. At 71 hectares, it's one of the largest urban parks in Britain, and includes a skate park, city farm, adventure playground, bandstand, café and showground.

Great schooling for all ages

Families with children will be pleased to know that local schooling options are good. Just 500 metres from the development is St Nicholas School, a renowned private school catering for reception age children up to year 11. Gilden Park is also close to Fawbert & Barnard's Primary School and the Mark Hall Comprehensive School. Both are well-respected schools with 'Good' Ofsted awards.
