Lime Tree Park is our brand new development located in the small village of Cleland near Motherwell. Just 17.3 miles to the east of Glasgow, it really does enjoy the best of both worlds with its lovely rural setting and great city links.
Commuting is made easy at Lime Tree Park, with four train stations all within easy reach. Cleland train station is just a short walk away (0.2 miles), Wishaw train station (3.2 miles), Holytown train station (3.9 miles) and Motherwell train station (4.7 miles). For road links, the M8 (3.1 miles) and the M74 (9.8 miles) are convenient routes. Further afield Glasgow airport (25.8 miles), offers many destinations.
Lime Tree Park is well placed just a few miles from the large town of Motherwell, which is home to the ever-popular Strathclyde Country Park. Next to the River Clyde, the 400-acre park attracts visitors all year round with its range of events and activities. You can choose from water-sports, a fitness gym, bicycle hire, playground and fun-boats. There is a conference venue there too.
The village of Cleland has a range of amenities including a library and two primary schools. Lime Tree Park is ideal for families as the schools are within easy reach; for younger children there’s Cleland Primary School (0.5 miles), St Mary's RC Primary School (0.7 miles) and Knowetop Primary School (4.9 miles). For older children there are the Dalziel and Braidhurst High Schools in Motherwell. The world-renowned Glasgow University is also within easy reach.
