Minutes from the city

For all the shops, culture, entertainment and nightlife you could need, hop on the train from Maghull to reach the vibrant heart of Liverpool in less than half an hour. The city has endless attractions, from the many museums (Museum of Liverpool, Merseyside Maritime Experience and British Music Experience to name just a few), to the historic Royal Albert Dock. Shop 'til you drop at the many independent stores and Liverpool ONE shopping centre, before sampling the wealth of restaurants, bars and clubs, including the famous Cavern Club, home of the Beatles.

Put family first

Though the bright lights of the city are close, Summerhill Park is also ideally situated for families of all ages. There are several schools less than a mile from the development – Summerhill Primary School, Northway Primary School and Deyes High School, all rated 'Good' by Ofsted. You'll find a number of nurseries in the vicinity too, and for further education, there's Deyes Sixth Form, several colleges in Crosby and Sefton, and five universities in Liverpool.

Love your local area

If need proximity to the city but are a nature lover at heart, this is the location for you. Travel less 6.7 miles to reach the beautiful sandy beach at Crosby, or 11 miles to reach Formby, a stunning National Trust seaside reserve with a long beach, sand dunes and pine woodland. Even closer to home is Lunt Meadows Nature Reserve, a peaceful setting for a family stroll or dog walk.

Fabulous transport links

One of the main draws of Summerhill Park is without a doubt the fantastic ease of access when it comes to travelling in the local area. Maghull train station is just a short walk from the development, and operates regular direct links to Liverpool's central Moorfields station, taking just 25 minutes. Liverpool isn't the only city within commuting distance – Maghull is just a few minutes from the intersection of the M58 and M57, both of which will carry you to Manchester in under an hour. Finally, if you fancy a change of scenery, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 17 miles away.
