Local facilities

If you fancy a spot of shopping, Cribbs Causeway has the lion’s share when it comes to high street shopping, but Beaufort Park is close to a range of independent shops, convenience stores and supermarkets. Nearby Gloucester Road is the longest road of independent shops in the UK. There are several primary schools to choose from, including Brentry Primary school and for secondary education, there’s Blaise High school.

Road and rail

For the great outdoors, the Blaise Castle Estate, Leigh Woods and Clifton Downs are all nearby, or you can head off for a day by the sea at Clevedon or Weston-Super-Mare. In the Mendip Hills you can explore Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole caves, while just south of Bristol, Tyntesfield is an amazing National Trust country house.
