There are many attractions within 25 miles, which include the famous caves at Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor, Stourhead Gardens, Muchelney Abbey, and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Wells is perfectly placed for getting around Somerset. It's located on the A39 which takes you south to the popular town of Glastonbury, and continues until it joins the M5 Motorway. In just 45 minutes, you'll reach the historic city of Bath with its many attractions and stunning architecture. Bristol airport is 40 minutes by car, with flights to a wide variety of European and global destinations. Wells offers good bus connections with services running to Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and Glastonbury. A National Express bus service connects to London Victoria, and Heathrow Airport.
