Situated between Oxford and Royal Leamington Spa, on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, Banbury is an active and friendly town filled with period architecture and a range of shops. Modern attractions such as the Castle Quay Shopping Mall sit alongside historic points of interest such as the 18th-century boatyard. With the addition of many local events such as markets and festivals, and a range of good schools in the vicinity, Hanwell Chase has something for everyone.

Located on the northern edge of Banbury, Hanwell Chase benefits from fantastic local amenities and has everything you need for modern-day living close to hand. There are several supermarkets nearby, the closest being a Sainsbury's Local just a short walk from the development, and Banbury centre is home to a range of independent and chain stores, including those at Castle Quay Shopping Centre and Badbury Shopping Park. The town has two markets - the charter market twice a week and the farmer's market once a month - and a variety of inviting cafes, bars and restaurants.
There are lots of green spaces to enjoy in and around Banbury. East of the canal is Spiceball Park - with three fields, a children’s play area and skate park, the park also sits next to a sports centre with a swimming pool, cafe, large gym, sports hall and soft play area. In the heart of the town centre you can enjoy the ‘People’s Park’, a beautiful ornamental park offering several gardens, sports pitches and a play area. Beyond Banbury there are other attractions to explore including beautiful golf courses, stately homes such as Broughton Castle and Upton House, and of course the Cotswolds.
Hanwell Chase is close to the M40 which is a provides a great link between London, Oxford, Leamington Spa and Birmingham. To get off the beaten track, a network of country roads links to the A429 for trips into the Cotswolds. The area is served by a bus network, and CrossCountry Rail, the Great Western Railway and Chiltern Rail all operate services to and from Banbury, including routes to London and Birmingham taking about an hour.
