Good schools in the local area

There's a good selection of schools in the local area. Enfield Primary School and New Waltham Academy are both Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary schools. Tollbar Academy is the largest secondary school in the region and is situated between Humberston and Waltham. There is a good range of doctors, dentists, opticians and veterinary surgeries nearby and the area is served by The Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

Day-to-day living

Everything you need for day-to-day life is close to hand with central Grimsby offering a selection of popular high street stores. Victoria Street is a pedestrianised area, providing a safe and relaxing place to shop. Freshney Place shopping centre is located nearby and has many big name brands. The town also has two markets selling delicious local produce and plenty of bargains: one next to Freshney Place and the other in Freeman Street. There's also a variety of out-of-town shopping centres and supermarkets nearby.

Good range of leisure attractions

There's a good choice of leisure attractions within the Grimsby-Cleethorpes area. The beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds Nature Reserve is close-by. The seaside resort of Cleethorpes is within easy reach for family days out. Other attractions are The Jungle Zoo, the Grimsby Marina, Grimsby Dock Tower and the Grimsby Minster.
