The A66 joining Middlesbrough and Darlington is nearby. This convenient road link connects with the A1(M) from Leeds to Durham. Middlesbrough is the county's hub for mainline train and bus services. If you are travelling for a day out rather than commuting, the A171 will take you to Whitby and Scarborough on the coast - it's a scenic route cutting across the edge of the North York Moors.
