Day-to-day shopping requirements are met by the supermarket which is immediately adjacent to the site. Traditional high street shops such as a butchers, bakers, news agents and a bank can be found within 1.5 miles of the development, in Penkridge's town centre. The town is famous for its traditional open stall market, held every Wednesday and Saturday, so you’ll able to buy delicious fresh local produce all year round. Penkridge has it's own medical practice and there are NHS facilities in nearby Wolverhampton and Stafford.
Penkridge has its own leisure centre, with a small swimming pool, sports hall and fitness suite, located adjacent to Walgarston High School off the Cannock Road. There is a private health club at the Hatherton House Hotel within the town centre. The area also has a good selection of sporting and leisure activities, including fishing at Pillaton Hall Farm, golf at Chase Golf Club and horse riding at Cannock Chase Trekking Centre.
Nursery schools within walking distance include The Little Treasures Day Nursery and Turtles Childrens Nursery. There are several junior schools located in Penkridge, for example the Prince Field First School, St Michaels First School, and Marshbrook First School. Secondary Schools include Penkridge Middle School and Walgarston High School.
There are excellent transport links in the immediate area including the M6 Toll and the M6. Penkridge is on the A449, mid-way between junctions 12 and 13 of the M6 motorway. Penkridge and Stafford train stations provide rail services to London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. The town is also served by National Express long-distance coaches, and the local bus service is provided by Arriva.
