The local bus services operate a network of routes to Tittensor, Trentham, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford. Train services are good too, and Stone has its own train station on the West Coast Main Line; with services running south to London Euston via Stafford, and north to Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent.
