The historic town of Shrewsbury has an incredible 660 listed buildings, gorgeous medieval streets, an abbey, a cathedral and a castle. Shrewsbury offers a variety of leisure activities; there's a public swimming pool in the town centre and Shrewsbury Sports Village has sports pitches, a cycle track, an indoor gym and a sports halls. There is excellent access by road, with the A49 bypass, the A5 and the M54 all nearby. Battlefield Road is a popular commuter route into Shrewsbury's town centre with regular bus services. Shrewsbury train station offers services to Birmingham in less than an hour and there is a service to London Euston which takes 2.5 hours. There are convenient Park & Ride facilities. Whether it's for business or pleasure, Manchester and Birmingham Airports are both within easy reach.
Local schooling is provided by Prestfelde Preparatory School and St Giles Primary School which are under a 10 minute walk from Weir Hill Gardens. Secondary education is provided by Belvidere School.
