Great leisure activities

Irvine has a long sandy beach, and the Irvine Beach Park alongside it has had a recent makeover; with new cycle pathways, picnic tables, outdoor gym equipment and wild flower planting. Eglinton Country Park on the outskirts of Irvine has a range of outdoor pursuits to enjoy, including horse riding and fishing. Its dedicated Countryside Rangers organise events throughout the year. Excellent transport links

Irvine is well-served for routes throughout Ayrshire. The development is close to the A78, which follows the line of the West Coast.
