You’ll never be stuck for something to do.
Living at Woodside means you’ll have easy access to the M1, A1(M) and M62 (via the M1). The nearest train station is East Garforth, with a quick service into Leeds city centre taking just 14 minutes. The main train and bus stations in Leeds and Castleford are also within easy reach – ideal for commuters and day trips. For journeys further afield, Leeds Bradford Airport, with its wide range of national and international destinations, is just 17 miles by car.
All your day-to-day necessities are catered for by the local Co-op, which is under a mile from Woodside. Castleford has a good selection of high street stores, as well as the Junction 32 Outlet, a popular discount shopping centre. For even more choice, a short journey into Leeds will take you to its busy high street and the shopping centres of Trinity and White Rose.
Woodside enjoys an excellent choice of Ofsted ‘Good’ local schooling. There are three primary schools in Kippax, North Primary, Greenfield Primary and Ash Tree Primary. Brigshaw High School is nearby for secondary education.
