The M18 connects with the M62 and the M1. The M180 is the link from Hatfield, just north of Armthorpe, with Grimsby on the coast. The A1(M) skirts past Doncaster on its long route between London and Newcastle upon Tyne. There’s a convenient direct train service from Doncaster to London Kings Cross, which takes just over 2 hours.

Armthorpe

Historically a large village, Armthorpe is now considered to be part of Doncaster. It’s a very popular part – with easy access into town and out of it. There are parks and leisure facilities nearby, national supermarkets within 2 miles of the development, schools - Southfield Primary and Shaw Wood Academy are the nearest to Nutwell Grange - and local shops within walking distance. Being close to the Trans Pennine Trail has given cyclists a boost too, and there are plenty of cycle ways to choose from if you set off from Armthorpe.

It only takes 11 minutes to drive into the centre of Doncaster from Nutwell Grange. You can take the 4 mile journey by bus if you prefer. Thriving city life centres on Silver Street, Cleveland Street and the High Street, all buzzing with bars and restaurants.
