Griffin Wharf sales launch confirmed

An eagerly-awaited new homes development in Ipswich launched 16th May after a short delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Griffin Wharf, overlooking the River Orwell, was due to be opened by Persimmon Homes in March, but the company is now able to welcome prospective buyers to reserve their plots remotely.

Lucy Woodhall, sales director for Persimmon Homes Suffolk, said: “The safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority, so our sales team will be looking after enquiries over the phone or by email from  Saturday (16th May).

“We know that there are lots of local people interested in the Griffin Wharf development, as it represents the transformation of a riverside site, bringing much-needed new homes to the area, and we were all very disappointed to have to delay the launch, but we believe these properties will be worth the wait!”

Priced from £225,000, Griffin Wharf is set to bring a collection of three bedroom townhouses located right next to the marina and overlooking the River Orwell, with a host of shops and amenities nearby, as well as excellent transport links.

Lucy added: “We can’t wait to be able to look after customers face-to-face again but, in the meantime, we will use every resource available to us to ensure they are able to secure their dream home.”
