New-build properties proving a huge success in popular coastal location

Phase two of a select development in a Hampshire village has sold so well that there are now only a few plots left on this popular site.

Persimmon Homes South Coast has brought a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes to a village near Eastleigh and the modern new-builds have proved popular with buyers. Crofton Walk, in Fair Oak, offers a good choice of local amenities, a wide range of schools for all ages and is close to the coastal city of Southampton.

Graeme Cole, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Coast, said: “I think the location of Crofton Walk has really attracted people, as it is only a short walk from the village centre, where there is a selection of shops and restaurants. The local infant and junior school and Wyvern College are also within walking distance, which has made the development attractive to families.”

The remaining properties all offer three, four and five-bedroom accommodation, with layouts tailor-made for modern living. A selection of property styles are still available including the spacious five-bedroom detached Corfe, which provides a contemporary layout with a large family kitchen/breakfast room and a fifth bedroom that can also be used a study for those working from home.

The attractive three-bedroom Oakley is extremely versatile with a front aspect living room and open plan kitchen/diner. Plus, bedroom two is on the ground floor, together with a utility with outside access. Bedroom one has an en suite with the roomy landing leading on to bedroom three and the family bathroom.

Graeme added: “Despite these unprecedented times, we have seen a high demand in the area for modern new-builds and we do not expect these properties to be available for very long. “We have various schemes available to help people move here, including Part Exchange and Home Change, and would urge people to book an appointment.”
