Roger makes the move to Persimmon Homes

An experienced property expert from Banbury has landed his dream job at Persimmon Homes Wessex.

Roger Farr has been appointed sales manager at Persimmon Homes.

Roger, 39 has joined Persimmon Homes Wessex as its newest sales manager. He will be responsible for driving sales and maintaining excellent customer service levels at developments across Oxfordshire, including Windrush Place in Witney, Wellington Gate in Grove and Heritage Park in Abingdon.

He said: “I’m excited to join Persimmon Homes and I am already settling in with the rest of the team and look forward to the upcoming months as I get to know the Oxfordshire property market better.”

With more than fourteen years’ experience in the property industry Roger decided that the time was right to move into the new build market saying: “I much prefer working with new build homes. There is an endless number of perks attached to buying new; being the first owner of your home has to top my list and for me personally, new build homes are the way forward.”

Roger, who recently proposed to his new fiancée Lisa, and is father to 11-year-old Daisy and step-father to 11-year old Alf, added: “the fast-paced demand of new build homes sales is both challenging and rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy sharing joy with a customer when I hand over the keys, because it’s the start of a new chapter in their life.”

Pauline Fletcher, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Wessex, said she was delighted to welcome Roger’s residential and commercial experience to her team.

She said: “Demand for Persimmon Homes properties in our region has significantly increased over the past year and it is essential that I have the right team in place.”

Persimmon Homes Wessex is currently building across Swindon, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.
