Buyer advice on Part Exchange and Home Change
If you’re eligible for Part Exchange, we’ll organise the sale of your existing home from start to finish for you. We’ll agree a fair and realistic price for your house with you, based on independent valuations.
Once you’re happy with the part exchange offer we will appoint estate agents to market your property on our behalf. You can then reserve your new Persimmon home, safe in the knowledge that you have agreed a sale on your current property. Within a matter of weeks, you could be in moving into your brand new Persimmon home.
With no estate agent fees, no chain and no delays, Part Exchange is a hassle-free, quicker way to sell your home.
This is the easy part: just speak to one of our friendly sales advisors and they can use their expertise and contacts to guide you every step of the way.
The Part Exchange scheme is available on selected plots, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. A professional legal adviser is required to carry out the legal formalities of buying the home and to represent your interests. You will still have to cover the costs of solicitor fees and any certifications (i.e. for gas and electrics etc) required as part of the normal selling/buying process. If you are currently marketing your home you will be responsible for all related costs with your current selling agent. It is your responsibility to ensure you serve sufficient notice if signed up to a sole agency agreement or similar.
