The Forest of Bowland AONB is just a few miles from the city, offering fantastic walking and cycle trails, while parts of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales can be reached in as little as half an hour. Or, if you’re happiest at the beach, travel just 15 minutes to experience the coastal delights of Morecambe.
