Packed with things to see and do, Leicester enjoys a wealth of cultural and historical highlights as well as extremely convenient commuter links. It’s no wonder the city is such a popular place to buy a new home. With two universities, including the award-winning University of Leicester, the city of Leicester is a popular educational choice and a major centre of learning. The National Space Centre, the largest of its kind in the UK, is a must-see attraction for academics and tourists from around the world alike, and is just one of countless cultural hotspots in the city.

Lots to do in the local area

Leicester is also noteworthy for its unique role as the burial place of King Richard III, with a fascinating visitor centre just steps from Leicester Cathedral, where the royal now rests.
