Weldon is a village community at heart, as well as being a popular suburb of Corby just two miles away. With two great pubs, a primary school, a local supermarket and great transport links to Corby, Northampton, Leicester, Kettering, and Peterborough, it ticks plenty of boxes as the setting for your new home.

Going to school
Weldon has its own primary school – meaning that young children can quickly become a part of the community if you are new to the area. The village is in Corby’s catchment area for secondary education however the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust has plans for a fabulous new Academy on the Weldon to Oundle road.
With Corby on your doorstep, you’ve got all the leisure and entertainment amenities of a large town. Corby International Pool has a 50m swimming pool, as well as gym, fitness, and golf facilities. ViRAL Entertainment, in the Willows Shopping Centre is a hit with tech savvy youngsters. Both are just off the A427 which joins the A43 Weldon road. The Weldon Woodland Park offers 40 acres of green space as well as outdoor activities for children with a BMX track, skateboard park and play areas. For a well-deserved drink, The Shoulder of Mutton is Weldon’s CAMRA approved craft brewery pub and you’ve also got The George Weldon, a 17th Century pub/restaurant.
