Situated along the M4 Corridor, half way between the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff to the East only 20 miles away and the smaller city of Swansea to the West only 23 miles away. The A48 is also nearby which links you quickly to Culverhouse Cross and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Within Bridgend, there are many shopping facilities from out-of-town retail parks to small family shops. The town has a market town atmosphere and a main pedestrian shopping area offering a wide selection of shops for all styles and tastes.
The development is only a mile from Bridgend designer outlet (McArthur Glen Shopping Outlet) and, locally, has a good choice of supermarkets situated nearby, including Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s.

Bridgend College caters for older students and, for further education, Swansea and Cardiff universities are only a short distance away.
The closest train station to the development is situated at Bridgend town centre, roughly 2.5miles away from Plas Helyg. You can travel comfortably to Cardiff in 22 minutes and to Swansea in 34 minutes.
The Princess of Wales Hospital is less than a mile away from the development and operates a succesfull A&E Department. GP's surgeries are scattered throughout the town, as are dentists.
