    The Scottish Government has announced an extension to the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme to cover the needs of over 60s who need to move but can’t afford to.

    At just 17 miles or 30 minutes by car via the A1 dual carriageway, Haddington is an excellent location for access to the ever popular historic city of Edinburgh. Longniddry and Drem railway stations are just over five miles away with a mainline station at Dunbar (13.7 miles) which has regular services to London. The beautiful coastline around Gullane and North Berwick are within easy reach, and the A1 offers fast access to the south.

    Edinburgh International Airport (25.8 miles) offers flights to a wide range of regional and international destinations. There are also frequent bus services via First bus at Drem.
