Bridgwater has many independent shops as well as major high street stores and for convenience, there is a Co-op less than one mile from Saxon Fields. For a bigger shop, there is a Morrisons just 2.7 miles away.
Bridgwater is surrounded by stunning scenery, with the West Country, Quantock Hills and the Somerset Levels within easy reach. The Bridgwater and Taunton Canal, although now cut off from the rest of the canal system, boasts a well-maintained towpath and is a beautiful setting for a peaceful walk, or a spot of boating. You’ll also be close to Somerset’s stunning beaches and the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve – perfect for family days out.
