Transport

Workington has a railway station on the Cumbrian Coast Line, providing rail connections to Carlisle, Barrow-in-Furness, and occasionally, through trains to Lancaster and Preston. Workington also has excellent bus connections to neighbouring Cumbria towns, as well as good road links via the A595 and A596.
