The reserve, trails and hides are open daily and panoramic views can be had at the visitor centre café. For a weekend away, Norwich, one of the most complete medieval cities in Britain, is just over an hour away, offering art galleries and antique and curiosity shops. Alternatively, described as the cultural and historical gem of Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds is only 16 miles away and boasts a mix of rich medieval history and modern visitor attractions and amenities.
