The Hedgerows is located in Alsager in Cheshire, and is a new development of two, three and four bedroom homes set amongst the leafy lanes and hedgerows of this charming semi-rural town.
Located to the north-west of the city of Stoke-on-Trent, and east of the railway town of Crewe, the centre of the picturesque town of Alsager boasts a lake called The Mere, which is one of the town’s main attractions. It was formed by a natural spring, and developed from marshland into a haven for wildlife. This isolated pool, once the focal point of the town, is accessible via two public viewing areas and by local residents who have gardens adjoining the waters.
Alsager’s town centre offers all the necessities for everyday living, with a choice of shops, well-respected schools, and numerous sports facilities including Alsager Leisure Centre and its Golf and Country Club. There’s also a good selection of family days out in the local area including Mow Cop Castle, Sandbach Crosses and Little Moreton Hall. Also close to the development, you will find Milton Park which has a well-kept children’s play area, junior football pitch, skate park and attractive gardens. We are also building a brand new children’s play area at The Hedgerows for residents to enjoy.
The town has great transport links and is easily accessible via the M6 motorway. Junction 16 is only 2 miles away with Manchester just a 50-minute drive, making this development ideal for commuters. Alsager train station is just a short walk away (0.8 miles) from the development and connects the town with Crewe, which has links to London, Manchester and further afield. The local bus service runs directly to the larger towns of Sandbach and Congleton.
