The Meadows is our new collection of three, four and five bedroom homes in Morpeth, perfectly situated on the northern edge of this popular market town.
Nestled on the banks of River Wansbeck, just over a mile from the A1, Morpeth is the county town of Northumberland in north east of England. A sought-after place to live, the town has much to offer, with its rich tapestry of heritage, history and attractive surroundings.
The Meadows is ideally situated just north of the bustling market town where you can find a wealth of amenities and facilities. These include restaurants and cafes that sell delicious local produce, shops, health centres, well-regarded schools and excellent transport links. A little further afield via the A1, Newcastle city has a wide range of shops, with the Metro Centre in Gateshead and Newcastle City central.
Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade provides a great choice of shops in a lovely setting and the modern Wednesday market is just a stone’s throw from the 13th century Chantry, where you’ll find the town’s Bagpipe Museum and Northumbrian Arts and Craft Gallery. Also in the town centre, you’ll be able to enjoy the delights of Carlisle Park with its river boating, tennis courts, bowls and colourful gardens.
Slightly further afield, the surrounding area boasts a wealth of country estates and gardens such as Belsay Hall Castle and Gardens, Wallington House and Woodhorn Museum Archives and Country Park. And you’re not far from the coast either – just 20 minutes away by car, Druridge Bay’s stunning 7-mile stretch of golden sand and dunes is sure to impress.
Ideally-located within easy reach of all of the amenities of Morpeth, combined with good commuter links, The Meadows is a fantastic place to call home.
